If you're a designer or an agency looking for precise control over web design, choose Webflow. Its pixel-level visual control and built-in CMS make it perfect for creating marketing sites. However, be prepared for a steeper learning curve, especially compared to simpler builders. It's not the best option if you're aiming for the simplest setup or developing a complex web application.
On the other hand, if you need a tool for brainstorming or sketching out architectural ideas in a quick and informal manner, Excalidraw is the way to go. Its unique hand-drawn aesthetic is great for quick sketches but lacks the polish and features of more sophisticated design tools. It's ideal for those who prefer a low-fidelity approach and want to work offline, but avoid it if you need high-quality visuals or an all-in-one design solution.
