If you're part of a design team and need a collaborative environment for interface design, Figma is the clear choice. Its real-time multiplayer capabilities, strong support for components, and a wealth of plugins make it ideal for product designers. However, be mindful that costs can escalate for larger teams, and your machine may struggle with heavy files.
On the other hand, if you prioritize privacy and have the technical know-how to manage your own server, immich is perfect for photo and video management. It offers high performance while allowing complete control over your media. However, it falls short if you prefer a cloud-based solution with extensive third-party integrations. Choose immich for personal use or if you're tech-savvy and looking for self-hosting options.
